Every ninety years, twelve gods incarnate as humans. They are loved. They are hated. In two years, they are dead. The team behind critical tongue-attractors like Young Avengers and PHONOGRAM reunite to create a world where gods are the ultimate pop stars and pop stars are the ultimate gods. But remember: just because you’re immortal, doesn’t mean you’re going to live forever. Collects THE WICKED + THE DIVINE #1-5

I just started getting back into comics. I used to love them when I was a kid, but I lost interest somewhere in high school. The Wicked + The Divine is amazing; the artwork alone is just incredible. The story is all about gods. Gods from all different times and religions resurrect every 90 years and for 2 years they live and people adore them or hate them, then they die.

This time the gods come back as pop stars and Laura is their ultimate fangirl.

Just look at all that gorgeous artwork! It’s so amazing

I highly recommend The Wicked + the Divine even if you don’t like comics. The artwork is beautiful and the story is amazing. It will keep you captivated from start to finish. There are lots of twists and turns that keep you on the edge of your seats and the twist at the end of Vol. 1 will have you begging for more.
