What’s the Word in Jess’ World…

This last week of January was bliss when compared to all the other weeks in January. I am back to my normal work schedule of 8 hr days and it feels amazing.

I finished three books this week! YESSS! Now I just need to actually write reviews…

My dog chewed up my library book. :-|

*Sigh* My dog hates me. Librarians! What do I do? :( Just pay the library for it?

Great haul this week. I have heard great things about Sarah Dessen’s books, but haven’t read any yet. Incarnate looks great, will have to check that one out. Happy reading.

Thanks, Katie! I do hope you get some Dessen reads in this year! She’s one of my favorite authors. :)

I’m really excited about Incarnate! I don’t know why I didn’t pick up a copy last year, but I’m kind of glad I got a deal on it! :D

And OMG did you see Dimitri?! HOT! lol

  2. Amanda @ On a Book Bender

Heh. Jess, I think your puppy is telling you that you’re not supposed to be reading. Curly used to go dig in the garbage to find Kleenex and rip them up when he felt he wasn’t getting enough attention. Though it really sucks about the book. I hope it turns out okay with the library.

If that’s the case, then Kai is quite the attention wh.. uhm, hog. Attention hog! lol He’s also obsessed with eating napkins, toilet paper, tissues…he’s crazy.

You must read Sarah Dessen soon!! She’s one of my favorites! I’m really enjoying Safe Haven so far. Can’t wait to see the movie also!

  3. Estelle / Rather Be Reading

Okay, so as someone who will admit to not loving everything Sparks writes, I think Safe Haven is one of his better ones in recent years.

I’m really looking forward to the movie as well… even though I did not picture the characters as these actors AT ALL.

    Happy reading!

I’ve honestly never had an interest in his books before this one. But I loooove his movies! And it really can’t hurt to have Josh Duhamel playing this male lead. He’s so handsome!!
