  1. Juli @ Universe in Words

Love this overview! I’ve been counting down my top 10 favourite books but might try to put together one of these as well. Also, 10/10 on the gif use ;) I really want to read ‘Shadow and Bone’ as well, it looks and sounds amazing! Also, I’m taking pretty much all of the books in this post as recommendations for my reading next year! Have a great New Year :D

  2. Quinn's Book Nook

I didn’t venture much in my reading this year either. Mainly it was romance, and I loved every minute of it!

I still haven’t read The Grisha books. I keep meaning to, I just haven’t gotten there. I’m really excited about The Raven King, too!

  3. Alexa S.

I loved, loved, LOVED getting to meet you <3 It was such a treat! And I love seeing the mentions of some of my favorites here, most notably A Court of Thorns and Roses <3

  4. Krystianna

I’m glad to see Shadow & Bone on your list! I’ve heard good things about it but still have yet to check it out. I’ve even owned a copy since it was first released, which is pretty sad… I know. I also found Until We Meet Again to be really unique! :D

  5. Mel@thedailyprophecy

The first question is always the hardest. Picking just one book. HOW? But Shadow and bone is a good one :D You are completely right about A court of thorns and roses! Ohhh and I adore Scarlet (and the sequels) I’m so happy we are finally getting The raven king. I’ve been waiting for such a long time now.

  6. Becca

Don’t you hate it when publishers compare a book to something popular and then your expectations are high? I know it is to draw readers in, but I have had it backfire so much I just move on when I see comparisons in the marketing.

That cover for The Darkling is gorgeous.
I meant to read Shadow & Bone this year but never got to it. You’ve renewed my interest!

  7. Morgan @ Gone with the Words

I love how many similar answers we have! Max Watson (yessss), The Raven King, and The Royal We for priority 2016 book! Scarlet and Grisha are both such great series. Plus your Sheldon gif is on point :) Happy reading, lovely co-blogger!
