Jess's April Challenge Updates!

April was SUCH an improvement as far as reading goes. This month I managed to read FIVE books PLUS listened to ONE audiobook! WHAT?! I know, crazy, right?!

2015 Contemporary Romance Reading Challenge

So the only problem with these three contemporaries is that I haven’t written a review for them yet, but keep an eye out for each in May!

Where Sea Meets Sky by Karina Halle – New Zealand cross-country trip, sexual tension, hot tattooed artist guy who’s hot. What’s not to love?

Flirting with Scandal (Capital Confessions #1) by Chanel Cleeton – Sexy young senator (you only have to be 21?! Who knew! He’s a little older than that though), equally sexy campaign advisor (who IS 21), minimal drama = perfection!

Trouble from the Start by Rachel Hawthorne – This reminded me so much of the recent YA’s I’ve come to love: My Life Next Door, Open Road Summer, and anything Sarah Dessen. Not too heavy, but some depth nonetheless.

Catching Jordan (Hundred Oaks) by Miranda Kenneally, Christina Delaine (Narrator)
This one was not only Contemporary Romance, but also an audiobook listen, AND a reread! Covered three with just one book. I still loved every bit of it too.

2015 Flights of Fantasy Reading Challenge

The Orphan Queen (The Orphan Queen #1) by Jodi Meadows – I just LOVED this one, you guys!! Check out my Top 5 Things I Loved About The Orphan Queen post to see exactly what had me all !

The Shattered Court (The Four Arts #1) by M.J. Scott – This was an enjoyable read! Mostly if you love romance though, and also, it’s more New Adult than YA, fyi. Check out my review HERE.

So overall, all the books I read this month were fan. tas. tic.

That’s all! Until Next Time!

Whoa, you had a great reading month! I’m happy to hear that you loved The Orphan Queen, which is one of my favorite 2015 releases. And I am most curious about Where Sea Meets Sky – it’s on my TBR!
