Seth never expected he would want to settle down with anyone - but that was before Aislinn. She is everything he'd ever dreamed of, and he wants to be with her forever. Forever takes on new meaning, though, when your girlfriend is an immortal faery queen.

Aislinn never expected to rule the very creatures who'd always terrified her - but that was before Keenan. He stole her mortality to make her a monarch, and now she faces challenges and enticements beyond any she'd ever imagined.

In Melissa Marr's third mesmerizing tale of Faerie, Seth and Aislinn struggle to stay true to themselves and each other in a milieu of shadowy rules and shifting allegiances, where old friends become new enemies and one wrong move could plunge the Earth into chaos.

Music Monday is a feature where I post a video of a song that reminds me of something or someone I’ve read…anything that relates to it in my mind.

What songs remind you of certain books or character?? Create a post and leave the link or just tell me about them in the comments. I’d love to know!!

This song is solely dedicated to Keenan…from Donia.

To me Keenan and Donia have the most heartbreaking relationship in this series. If you’ve read the series you know that Keenan is in search of his Summer Queen, for once he finds her his powers will no longer be bound and the Summer Court will thrive and rise to its full potential. He’s been searching for nine centuries with no success. But when he meets Donia, he falls in love with her like he has never with any other potential queen. They fall in love with each other. She loves him for who he who is, enough to risk the test to find out if she truly is his missing Summer Queen. She isn’t, and this breaks Keenan’s heart because he has to put his feelings for her aside and continue his search for the sake of his court. Donia, not being the missing queen and having risked the test, is now the Winter Girl. Her duty is to warn and dissuade any of Keenan’s future prospects so that he may never find his queen. That is her curse, and she hates him for it.

When he finally does find his queen in Aislinn, she’s already in love with another, and she will not give him up or try to have a relationship with Keenan. But she does care for him, and so she finds a way for Donia and Keenan to be together on certain days of the year. Keenan and Donia are finally able to attempt some sort of relationship…except he’s still drawn to his queen, not out of love but out of want. If he were to be with Aislinn, their Summer Court would be much more stronger. So now anytime Keenan sees an opportunity to try to sway Ash, he leaves Donia. And that is where this song comes in…

Adele is an amazing artist. Her voice is just incredible and her songs wrap themselves around your heart.
