I just finished Lola and the Boy Next Door this weekend and I absolutely LOVED it! Here’s a snippet of one of my favorite scenes in this book:
“…and the stars would double into four. And four became eight, and eight became sixteen, and so on, in the greatest mathematical equation the universe had ever seen. And by the time an hour had passed, the sky would be filled with so many stars that it would wake his neighbors. People wondered who’d turned on the floodlights.”

It’s funny that you posted ‘Yellow’ because I just recently came across the video on YT and was drowning in nostalgia! It was my ultimate love song when it came out. Still is a beautiful song and the video is so simple and sweet to me. :)
