TGIF!

TGIF is a weekly feature created and hosted by GReads! that re-caps the week’s posts and has different question each week.

Summer Love: Where’s your ideal place to take a summer vacation & get lost in a book?

I don’t take a lot of summer vacations, and when I do, I’m not really left alone enough to enjoy some reading. What I do love about summers though, is that I only work half a day on Fridays. Meaning, I get a whole afternoon all to myself to just read. Quite, uninterrupted reading. Bliss. Le sigh. :)

Follow Friday

Follow My Book Blog Friday is a weekly meme hosted by Parajunkee’s View where we all get together and say HI!

In light of the Summer Solstice. Also known as Midsummer…let’s talk about fairies. What is your favorite fairy tale or story that revolves around the fae?

Oh, how I love fae books. My most current favorite is The Iron Fey series by Julie Kagawa. It’s so unique and magical. Another favorite is the Wicked Lovely series by Melissa Marr. This one’s a bit darker, but also unique. I also really love Richelle Mead’s Dark Swan/Eugenie Markham series. This one’s not YA (just so you know).

Tune in Tuesday: California
Waiting on Wednesday: Siren’s Storm
