TGIF is a weekly feature created and hosted by GReads! that re-caps the week’s posts and has different question each week.

This week’s question: Book Blogger Pride: What do you take pride in when it comes to blogging?

I take pride in the fact that I work hard to keep new content up 6 days a week, sometimes 5 or 7…the point is it’s consistent. That I tell you about the books I love with as much enthusiasm and honesty as possible. That every book you see featured here is one I am genuinely excited about sharing with you. But most importantly is that it is totally and completely mine, and I can do what I want with this space and I do. :)

Follow Friday

Follow My Book Blog Friday is a weekly meme hosted by Parajunkee’s View and Alison Can Read where we all get together and say HI!

This week’s question: I like unique names for characters and am looking forward to coming up with some when I start writing. What’s the most unique character name you’ve come across?

There are some pretty good ones out there! Let me see…. *scours her goodreads shelves*

Ok! Couldn’t pick just one…

Irial – Wicked Lovely series by Melissa Marr

Valek – Poison Study series by Maria V. Snyder

Cassel – White Cat series by Holly Black

Auden – Along for the Ride by Sarah Dessen

My Models Died Years Ago: Guest Post by Lisa Brown
Review: Picture the Dead by Adele Griffin

I haven’t read any of the books that you picked for your unique names! I suppose I should change that!

(And I’m with you on the blog pride! It’s mine, I work hard at it and I love it.)

I so need to read the White Cat books – that name is awesome. Major kudos for the consistency – it’s something I’m trying to be better about.

I feel the same way about my blogging – keeping it consistent and authentic has always been important to me. Your blog comes across as a friend recommending books intelligently to another friend and it’s why I trust your recommendations!

I love reading your posts and I definitely agree that you are such a consistent blogger! I appreciate that kind of devotion you have toward your blog!

I am impressed at your ability to consistently post.  This past week or two I’ve slacked a bit. Taken a few personal days to finish some stuff. But it’s not just that you post something consistently…your posts are also consistently good. And That is key!

All those names sound like perfumes to me! I think YA has some really strange names out there. I’m really impressed with all the things you do too! My blog is run with two people and I still feel overwhelmed sometimes. I don’t know how you consistently do it, major kudos to you. :)
