Most Valuable Book | Fave Dad Characters

This week’s TGIF! question: Most Valuable Book: From your personal collection of books, which ones hold the most value to you – is it signed by the author? or maybe it’s your favorite story of all time? Share it with us.

Easy! It’s my Outlander series, which are all in hardbacks. The only thing they’re missing is Diana Gabaldon’s autograph. Not only are they all over $20 each, it is all my favorite series. And I actually haven’t even cracked them open. I have the Kindle editions of each and read those instead. Yeah..I baby them, lol.

This week’s Follow Friday question: Happy Father’s Day! Who is your favorite dad character in a book and why?

I have to go with Lola’s dads in Lola and the Boy Next Door.  They were just outstanding characters that really stood out.

Also, Charlie from Twilight. He was pretty dang cool. :)

This site is stunning! I’ve been wanting to read Lola and the boy next door for a while now, so this had made me want to pick it up even more!
    My FF!
    Happy Friday!

I adored Lola’s dad’s in “Lola and the Boy Next Door”! They were my favorite characters from the ook, tbh.

My Harry Potter hardback collection is certainly up there as far as books that I value as well! The Outlander series is a good choice :-)

I still do have my first Outlander books too. No hardcovers though, and they are pretty run-down from all the repetitive reading ;)
I picked Charlie too and the Lola’s dads are awesome. Well chosen!

    Happy Friday! My TGIF
    and F&F post

i think i will buy outlander, too. the one i’m reading is from the library, it’s the 20th anniversary edition, it has reader’s discussion questions in the back & a music CD &, my favorite part, an attached bookmark (i’m forever losing bookmarks) pretty dang cool, right. i think i would totally buy this one.

Vera’s dad, from “Please Ignore Vera Dietz”. From her POV, he seems clueless, and maybe a little uncaring, but his POV speaks volumes.

Lola’s dads are on my list too! Great minds and all that ;)
    Charlie’s also a great pick!

Though I haven’t read the Outlander books, they do look nice! I have some books I haven’t opened at all!

Ooh – so pretty! They really do look stunning all lined up line that. Looking forward to diving back in this weekend! I realized it’s been more than a decade since I last read Outlander…which also makes me feel old. Ugh. :)

$20 each? TALK ABOUT VALUABLE. And someone was just mentioning this so that’s pretty cool. I’ll check it out.

LOLA’S DADS. They rock! I’m so happy that peeps are remembering to pick them because they blew me away with their care, their quirks, their disciplinary measures XD, I LOVED THEM :D
