TGIF!

TGIF is a weekly feature created and hosted by GReads! that re-caps the week’s posts and has a different question each week.

This week’s question: Fictional Places: if you could visit a fictional setting in any book, where would you go?

I would loooooove to visit Baltimore in 1889, the setting of The Vespertine by Saundra Mitchell. There’s something about those beautiful gowns, the whole calling cards thing, the dances. Le sigh. It makes me swoon thinking about it! If you’d like to see what I thought of The Vespertine, see my review HERE.

Follow Friday

Feature & Follow My Book Blog Friday is a weekly meme hosted by Parajunkee’s View.

This week’s question is : Do you have anyone that you can discuss books with IRL? Tell us about him/her.

I do!! I used to just have my friend, Lety, but now I also got my best friend of 14 years, Monica, hooked on audiobooks! They both like YA and so far only Lety shares my love for PNR, but I still have hopes for Monica. ;) They listen to me yap about books and blogging allllll the time! They’re too awesome.

Book Blogger Hop

Book Blogger Hop is a weekly meme hosted by Crazy for Books.

This week’s question is: Pick a character from a book you are currently reading or have just finished and tell us about him/her.

Today I’m finishing When you Dare by Lori Foster, so let me tell you about one of the side characters. His name is Chris. He is the assistant and house manager of the main character, Dare. He is great comic relief. He will find anything to tease you about! I can kind of relate to that, since I do that, too. :)
