Thursday Tracks: The Freshman

The Freshman Thursday Tracks

The Freshman is one of those songs from the 90s that you never forget. The lyrics point to a sad story of abortion and suicide. And according to the song’s wiki page it’s partly true, which I never knew.

So for funsies, tell me what school grade or how old you were when this song came out: March 26, 1996. I was in 8th grade!

I was in kindergarten. So I don’t think I listened to this song when it first came out but I did hear it a few years ago.
