Tune in Tuesday – Soundtrack Edition: Remix!!

A weekly feature hosted by GReads! where we showcase some good tunes! :)

And so Soundtrack month comes to a close, but there’s yet so much to choose from!! For this reason, I’ve dubbed this last Soundtrack Edition post…the REEEE-MIX! Different movies, different songs, one last post.

I’ve chosen three, all scenes that have moved me. Let us begin…

How to Say Goodbye by Paul Tiernan – It was almost impossible to choose one song from this AMAZING soundtrack.

Sea of Love by Cat Power – This makes me cry every. time. GAH!!

Needle in the Hay by Elliott Smith – This is one of my all time favorite movies!!

I decided to include the scene where the song plays, but you can listen to the full version by click the name of the song.

This song and scene are really incredible together.

Sea of Love is my all-time favorite from the Juno soundtrack! My high school Parent Child Development teacher loves that soundtrack because 1)it is great 2) the movie dealt with teen pregnancy so she would play the CD’s while we did class work. Every time Sea of Love came on I would get all happy :)
