Abby and Luke chat online. They've never met. But they are going to. Soon.
Abby is starting high school—it should be exciting, so why doesn't she care? Everyone tells her to "make an effort," but why can't she just be herself? Abby quickly feels like she's losing a grip on her once-happy life. The only thing she cares about anymore is talking to Luke, a guy she met online, who understands. It feels dangerous and yet good to chat with Luke—he is her secret, and she's his. Then Luke asks her to meet him, and she does. But Luke isn't who he says he is. When Abby goes missing, everyone is left to put together the pieces. If they don't, they'll never see Abby again.
This book sounds scary. I watched Sarah Darer Littman talk about this book on the author chat a couple of weeks ago and couldn’t add it to my TBR list fast enough!! She talked about her process and research for this book and it was fascinating…and a little disturbing! :)

This one I want to read as a parent I think I really need to read it. It might scare me but I think we all should be aware just how dangerous it can be online. Awesome pick. Thanks for stopping by my blog :)

I really love this cover! Minimalistic is so my thing! Hehe! Great pick! It's what parents always warn their kids against (online chatting)… I'm definitely adding it! Thanks for stopping by my blog! I'm now following!

I'm really, really excited for this book!!! My own novel deals with similar subject matter, so I can't wait to see how this book tackles it.
Small Review
This isn't usually my genre, but I'm so curious about how the author will handle the mystery part of the story. I'll be keeping an eye out for reviews of this one. I hope you enjoy it!

Jess - A Book Hoarder
Wow, I must read this! Great pick, thanks for bringing it to my attention. I think the cover is perfect. I remember when aim just came out and there was the same parental concern without all the actual awful stories to back it up. I'm very curious about her research but scared at the same time.
A Canadian Girl
This one definitely sounds chilling. I think I already have it on my wishlist but if I don't, I'll be adding it :)
