This week’s question: If you are a fan of Science Fiction what is your favorite book? If you haven’t read Science Fiction before…any inkling to? Anything catch your eye?

Interestingly enough, I was just discussing SciFi with a friend today!! I was telling him that I wanted to read some and he suggested Dune by Frank Herbert. He said he had recently read it and liked it for the most part, so I might dive into that soon! :)

This week’s question: What book(s) would you like to see turned into a movie?

I love this question! So MANY! Some are already working on becoming movies as we speak: The Mortal Instruments and Hunger Games. Some are still working to make it happen: Wicked Lovely, Shiver, Vampire Academy. Here’s a list of some that have no deals, are stalled out or have not had any updates:

1. Outlander by Diana Gabaldon

2. The Forest of Hands and Teeth series by Carrie Ryan

3. Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins

4. Looking for Alaska by John Green

5. Will Grayson, Will Grayson by John Green & David Levithan

6. Graceling & Fire by Kristin Cashore

I don't mind an element of sci-fi, but I started flicking through Dune once and it wasn't my cup of tea. Old follower hopping on through!

There are many great reviews for Dune. It's one of those scifi books with a big following. I gave it a try many years ago and really disliked it. :( It may just be me, though! Have a great weekend!

I've been wanting to read Mortal Instruments and Hunger Games! I wish they would make HATE List by Jennifer Brown into a movie! And I really liked Old Man's War by Scalzi re: Sci fi!
