What’s the Word in Jess’ World…

My week was pretty uneventful…except for the day when my daughter couldn’t be found at school for like 20 mins!! GOSH! It was a horrible feeling. Worst 20 mins of my life! She’s ok and was safe the whole time, it was just that she wasn’t were we thought she was supposed to be, then the school didn’t know where she was, but she had been in a tutoring session the whole time. I don’t want to make a bid deal about it, but we’re getting her a cell phone so I won’t ever again be in a position where I can’t reach her.

ANYWAY! Other than that it was pretty uneventful. :/

Great blog post! I’m really excited to read Lauren Graham’s new book. I love the feature and I think it’s important to talk about the arc jealousy because no matter who you are it can happen to you. We are all human.

Thank you!! I’m SO excited for that book too! And I agree, arc jealousy affects everyone at some point, and it’s ok to admit it.

Love this post, the idea is fantastic. I’m glad your daughter was safe and sound, it’s always scary when you think they are missing. Great haul this week in books. Have added Exclusively Yours to my wishlist, it looks interesting. Happy reading.

Oh these are good, as always. I spot Daemon up there, so I just stared at this screen for a little too long. Thanks for linking to my post! Also, I’d have freaked out about my kids being out of place like your gal was. Mercy!

*SIGH* Yes…Daemon is so dang stare worthy. And your post is beyond worthy of being linked by everyone, it was perfect. Also, yeah, I hope I never have to experience that again. Good golly, did it suck!

Oh my goodness, I can’t even imagine what you would’ve been going through with your daughter missing! That must have been terrifying. I’m so glad she was okay!

I had started reading the Blue Bloods series a LONG while back, but never read past the first 3 books … I really need to try and get back into it!

    Enjoy your week, Jess!

You should totally continue the Blue Bloods series!

I don’t know about the UPS My Choice thing…mostly because I imagine the dither I’d get into if publishers aren’t sending me any books. I’d be so depressed!

Awwwww! I get it. :) In a way, it’s nicer to be surprised when you find a package on your door step.

Oh my goodness!! I can’t imagine what you must have gone through for those 20 minutes. It must have felt like hours.

I don’t think I’ll sign up for My Choice just because I’d be upset about the lack of notifications! :)

Most terrifying 20 minutes EVER, Stephanie! Don’t ever want to feel it again.

And I totally get the UPS thing, lol. :)
