Monthly Wrap-Up: January 2019!

Monthly Wrap-Ups

Hello, friends!! January finally ended after lasting a good 60 days. Today I bring you a round-up of the books I read or listened to this month. It was a strong beginning to 2019 and I hope I can keep up the momentum.

Books Read

Saga, Vol. 1 (Saga #1) by Brian K. Vaughan (Writer)Fiona Staples (Artist) – I was pleasantly surprised at how invested in the story I got right off the bat. Since it’s a character telling the story of her life from when she was born, you can’t help to want to know what all happened. The art is superb and I’m really looking forward to continuing the series.

I’m currently in the middle of My Favorite Half-Night Stand by Christina Lauren but I’m very much enjoying it so far so I thought I’d give it a mention in this post. Look for my thoughts on this later.

P.S. I Still Love You (To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before #2) by Jenny HanLaura Knight Keating (Narrator) – I fleeeew through this audiobook! It was a great way to start 2019! And now I’m ready for the sequel!

Always and Forever, Lara Jean (To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before #3) by Jenny HanLaura Knight Keating (Narrator) – OMGGGG!! I loved this book so much!! It was the perfect ending to a great trilogy! It was also my favorite of the three. I hope we get a movie of this book too. It’s important!

One Day in December by Josie SilverEleanor Tomlinson (Narrator)Charlie Anson (Narrator) – You guys… I loved this book so much. The narrators really brought it to life. They injected this story with great emotion that really made me fall for these characters. I was very invested in them. I was a little worried about how this would turn out seeing as how it involves two best friends who love the same guy, but Josie Silver really mastered it. Highly recommend this one!

I’m currently in the middle of Next Year in Havana by Chanel CleetonKyla Garcia (Narrator)Frankie Maria Corzo (Narrator ) and WOW! This story is so enthralling! Here more on this one later!
