Ready, Set, Jett by Lori Foster

4 Stars

(This review is only for Lori Foster’s story, Ready, Set, Jett)

I recently read When You Dare by Lori Foster (look for my review, coming this Thursday!), which comes out April 26, and totally loved it! In it, I was introduced to Natalie Alexander and Jett Sutter. Natalie is Molly’s, the MC in When You Dare, sister. In it, they talked about how they had just come home from spring break vacation, where they had decided to get married. It seemed there was more to their story somewhere, and well, there was! Lori Foster had written their story in this anthology and I just HAD to read it because this couple was just too cute!

Jett is one laid-back, funny guy. Oh, and he’s also very sexy. He is the epitome of tall, dark and handsome, with his muscular body, dark hair and dark eyes. He is also really sweet. He has three younger sisters who he just adores. Every time he interacted with them I felt like squeezing him and saying, “You are so cute!”

Natalie, a school teacher, has never in her life had a fling before. She is normally very reserved, but with Jett, she acts uninhibited. She tries really hard to keep her heart out of it, but Jett will just not let her. He is determined to make sure Natalie agree to start dating him exclusively. Especially after he discovers that she’s going to take a trip for spring break. After Jett convinces Natalie to take him with her, she begins to realize Jett is sincere about his feelings for her, and finally opens up to him. I really loved seeing their relationship turn from fling to forever love.

The story ends with Natalie and Jett going to find out why Molly isn’t answering Natalie’s calls or emails, and we see what happens in the book When You Dare. I thought this was a fun, sweet and sexy story and was glad to have picked it up! You definitely won’t be lost in When You Dare if you don’t read this story, but it adds to it in my opinion.
