TGIF is a weekly feature created and hosted by GReads! that re-caps the week’s posts and has different question each week.

This week’s question: Promote An Author: Is there a particular author you wish got more recognition? Pick one author & tell us why we should read their work.

Hello again, friends! I’m about to sound like a broken record because I’m going to once again talk about… *drumroll*

The Sky Is Everywhere by Jandy Nelson

Oh, yes…AGAIN! haha

But this is what we’re supposed to do as book bloggers…talk and praise and talk more to you about the books we love. If I haven’t convinced you to pick this book up yet, let me know. ;) (Also check out these quotes I posted last week.) It is for that reason that I chose…

Jandy Neslon

author_jandynelsonJandy is an incredible writer and she definitely deserves the recognition.

Check out this awesome book site for The Sky is Everywhere and Jandy Nelson.

Follow Friday

Follow My Book Blog Friday is a weekly meme hosted by Parajunkee’s View and Alison Can Read where we all get together and say HI!

This week’s question: Have you ever looked at book’s cover and thought, This is going to horrible? But, was instead pleasantly surprised? Show us the cover and tell us about the book.

There’s really only one SERIES, not just one book, where I continually disliked the covers!
It’s one of my all time favorites…ALL TIME!

That is SO not Georgina Kincaid on the cover! I never thought so, anyway. This story about a young woman who makes a mistake and feels the only way to fix it is by making a deal with the devil is just heart-wrenching at times! And SO hilarious at others. I love this story and I urge you to read it and love it…despite the covers. :)

Oh yes! I really dislike those covers. Especially the last one. It’s scary bad! New NB follower (Becca Hobbs). You can find my FF here.

    Jessica@a GREAT read

Saw these covers earlier! I wasn’t too offset by them. It was more me being worried that since she is a succubus that there would be too much sex scenes in them! So glad I gave it a try though!

I have The Sky is Everywhere on my shelf and I keep putting off reading it. It sounds like I need to get to it soon!

I JUST bought this book last week. Now it’s sitting on my bookshelf. Ugh. WHEN WILL I GET TO IT? I have heard only amazing things about it & I may have to sneak it in my library and ALA pile to read it before it’s 2013. :) Hope you have a great weekend!

I don’t particularly like those covers for the Georgina Kincaid series, thank God the British ones are a bit better.

OH GUESS WHAT!!! Just yesterday I bought The Sky Is Everywhere for $1.99. I was SO EXCITED. It’s the cover you pictured too, so pretty! I can’t wait to read it. I thought of you when I got it because I know you love it so much!!
