Bookish Trends | I Blame The Hunger Games Movie

This week on Gone with the Words:

Waiting on Wednesday: Velveteen
Bloggiesta – I’m doing it!

TGIF is a weekly feature created and hosted by GReads! that re-caps the week’s posts and has different question each week.

This week’s question: Bookish Trends: What are some bookish trends you are noticing in the literature world today? Is there a particular trend you’d like to see more of?

I can only think of a couple that are both welcome and obvious:

1. Fairytale retellings

2. Characters who are in or know someone in the military.

Follow Friday

Follow My Book Blog Friday is a weekly meme hosted by Parajunkee’s View and Alison Can Read where we all get together and say HI!

This week’s question: Coming soon!

I will update this as soon as soon as I get a chance! (Due to the fact I’m at The Hunger Games midnight viewing) :)

*UPDATE – This was never updated. I blame The Hunger Games movie. Which was awesome. :)

    Jessica@a GREAT read

Yeah so loving fairy tale retellings! There is a line of books out there that is a few years old. It was the Once Upon a Time series, although it wasn’t always called that. It didn’t really have a name. Just that they were fairy tale retellings! I loooove them!! My fave was the Snow White retelling!

     Here’s my Friday Hops
