TGIF is a weekly feature created and hosted by GReads! that re-caps the week’s posts and has different question each week.

This week’s question is: Stand Alone vs. Series: what’s your stance?

I really love series. There are some amazing stand alone books I’ve read, and I treasure them, but I fall in love with the characters so easily and sometimes way deeply, that I want to read more about them!

Follow Friday

Follow My Book Blog Friday is a weekly meme hosted by Parajunkee’s View where we all get together and say HI!

This week’s question is: Keeping with the dystopian and apocalypse theme that seems to be running rampant on, I have one very hard question for you: If you were stocking your bomb shelter, what books would you HAVE to include if you only had space for ten?

OMG!! You kill me with this question!! Only 10?!? The HORROR! UGH! LOL Ok, well I’d definitely bring my Kindle and Kobo, loaded and charged. Hopefully the power doesn’t go out. *deep breath*

Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon
(Books 1 thru 6 only…7 has killer cliffhangers and it takes her years to write these books, so if book 8 is not out by then, I don’t want to forever wonder how it would go.)

The Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare
(3 books…I mean, c’mon, it’s Jace! Of course I want him in my bomb shelter!)

This Lullaby by Sarah Dessen
(Because Dexter makes me happy..and I’ll need a happy book.)
