Bookshelf Tour: Where do you keep your books at home? Are they organized?

Not so organized… lol

Follow Friday

Follow My Book Blog Friday is a weekly meme hosted by Parajunkee’s View and Alison Can Read where we all get together and say HI!

Name 3 authors that you would love to sit down and spend an hour or a meal with just talking about either their books or get advice on writing from?

I don’t know if I could sit for a whole hour and actually make conversation with someone I admire. I’m pretty sure my mind would turn to mush and I’d have nothing to say or no questions to ask, lol. I am pretty good at 2 minute conversations while they sign their books though!! :D All authors I love that I’ve met that way have left a lasting impression.

Melissa Marr telling me how she’s seen pictures of potential castings of Irial, Niall, and Seth and that they’re all very hot…BLEW MY MIND! :D That was definitely a favorite signing line encounter!

Sarah Dessen talked to me about why Jason keeps reappearing and the reason she decided to go the route she did with him in What Happened to Goodbye. I was SO starstruck, that I can’t remember what she told me, hahaha.

Lauren Myracle remembered (and downloaded) the song I had chosen and posted on the blog for her novel, Shine, then started giving me song recommendations! That was pretty awesome…talking music with an author. :)

Book Blogger Hop

Book Blogger Hop is a weekly meme hosted by Crazy for Books where you have an awesome opportunity to connect with other book lovers, make new friends, support each other, and generally just share our love of books! It will also give blog readers a chance to find other book blogs to read!

What’s the ONE GENRE that you wish you could get into, but just can’t?

Hmmm…maybe some more political or crime mystery novels. I haven’t really tried reading them, but have read the first few pages of some. They didn’t immediately catch my attention. And I actually do like other genres that have some mystery in them…just not those two specifically.
