TGIF is a weekly feature created and hosted by GReads! that re-caps the week’s posts and has different question each week.

Character Envy: If you could be one character from a book, who would you choose & why?

The problem with envying characters in stories, especially female ones, is that while some things (See: hot guys) could be really advantageous (See: Making out with aforementioned hot guys), other things (See: fighting for your life at every turn) would really suck. I mean, they really have to put up with some crazy stuff sometimes! But since it’s fiction, and I would be able to keep character’s kick-ass abilities, I’d probably trade places with Cat from the Night Huntress series by Jeaniene Frost. Can’t deny that a huge factor in this decision is Cat’s beloved, Bones. I mean, honestly…is there a hotter British paranormal out there?!

But wait! I have a young adult one, too!! I’d pick Anna from Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins! HANDS DOWN! What’s not to love or want? Etienne St. Clair? Check! Paris? Check! :)

Follow Friday

Follow My Book Blog Friday is a weekly meme hosted by Parajunkee’s View and Alison Can Read where we all get together and say HI!

Let’s step away from books for a second and get personal. What T-Shirt slogan best describes you?

One sentence can say so much about someone sometimes. This one speaks more of my humor (or wit) than my actual lack of radness. :P

It says: “If I were a vegetable, I’d be a Radish. Because I’m only kind of Rad.

Book Blogger Hop

Book Blogger Hop is a weekly meme hosted by Crazy for Books where you have an awesome opportunity to connect with other book lovers, make new friends, support each other, and generally just share our love of books! It will also give blog readers a chance to find other book blogs to read!

Highlight one book you have received this week (for review, from the library, purchased at the store, etc.) that you can’t wait to dig into!

That would be Guardian of the Dead by Karen Healey. :D (Thank you Little, Brown for this copy)
