TGIF is a weekly feature created and hosted by GReads! that re-caps the week’s posts and has different question each week.

Making a Difference: Which book(s) would you put in the hands of today’s teenagers in hopes of making a difference in their lives?

I can only recommend what I think would have made an impact to me as a teen and ones I’ve read so far, so here’s my list:

I think all Sarah Dessen books would have been great to have back then.
John Green’s books, especially LOOKING FOR ALASKA.
SPEAK by Laurie Halse Anderson.
Definitely THIRTEEN REASONS WHY by Jay Asher.

Follow Friday

Follow My Book Blog Friday is a weekly meme hosted by Parajunkee’s View and Alison Can Read where we all get together and say HI!

If you could change the ending of any book (or series), which book would you choose? Why and to what?

One word: PARADISE :( elaborate a little….I LOVED this book, but that ending KILLED me! I can’t tell you anything more without ruining it. Sorry, folks. *runs off crying*

Book Blogger Hop

Book Blogger Hop is a weekly meme hosted by Crazy for Books where you have an awesome opportunity to connect with other book lovers, make new friends, support each other, and generally just share our love of books! It will also give blog readers a chance to find other book blogs to read!

What are you most looking forward to this fall/autumn season – A particular book release? Halloween? The leaves changing color? Cooler temperatures? A vacation?

While sadly the leaves do not change colors in Texas, I am very much looking forward to fall/autumn because it means lower temperatures. By lower temperatures, I mean 80ish degrees. *sigh* It doesn’t cool down here until November really, and even then we have hot days.

I’m also looking forward to October! Not only do I love that month, I’m also hoping to make it to TWO book festivals in Austin that month: Texas Teen Book Fest and Texas Book Festival!

Another great event, this one in November, my daughter’s 10th birthday. :)
