TGIF is a weekly feature created and hosted by GReads! that re-caps the week’s posts and has different question each week.

Book Disappointments: Have you ever come across a book you were so stoked to read, but it failed miserably in your eyes?

Luckily I haven’t had such let downs with books I’ve REALLY wanted to read, just some that haven’t been as good as I thought they would be.

The Predicteds by Christine Seifert – I thought this book was a dystopian novel from the synopsis…it turned out to be more contemporary. Not a bad one..but not a great one. (Read my review HERE)

The Water Wars by Cameron Stracher – One of my first reviews on the blog! Sadly, the characters were just ok in this dystopian book, and I’m really all about the characters. And it’s sad that it was an ok book because that cover is still gorgeous! (Read my review HERE)

Betrayed (House of Night #2) by P.C. Cast, Kristin Cast – The first had just been good, borderline ok…this one was very just ok. And yet, I still read this series to this day! *sigh* It’s Stark…he keeps me hanging on. :) (Though I did not review this one on the blog, I did review Awakened! Read that review HERE)

That Summer by Sarah Dessen – Now you guys KNOW I love Sarah Dessen…but this is my least favorite book of hers. I liked it…but barely. (This one hurt to admit – I need a hug now!)

Follow Friday

Follow My Book Blog Friday is a weekly meme hosted by Parajunkee’s View and Alison Can Read where we all get together and say HI!

It’s that pesky magic book fairy again! She has another wish: What imaginary book world would you like to make a reality?

Ha! Easy. I’d love the town of Fool’s Gold, California to be real. Yes, I know it’s a realist fictional town, but if you’d read these books, you’d get it!! Think “Stars Hollow” from Gilmore Girls!

Book Blogger Hop

Book Blogger Hop is a weekly meme hosted by Crazy for Books where you have an awesome opportunity to connect with other book lovers, make new friends, support each other, and generally just share our love of books! It will also give blog readers a chance to find other book blogs to read!

As a book blogger, how do you introduce yourself in your profile?

I do it honestly. I tell you why I started the blog, what got me reading again, and
how the whole thing came together. I also have a picture of myself since I don’t anywhere else. :) Go see my About Me page!
