Top Ten Tuesday: Books On My Winter TBR

Funny you should ask, Broke & Bookish! I’ve been contemplating what I should read this month since I only work until the 17th and have the rest of the month off! I want to pick books that have been on my TBR for a while and some January releases, so let’s see what I can come up with…

1. Bitter Spirits (Roaring Twenties #1) by Jenn Bennett

2. No One Else Can Have You by Kathleen Hale

3. Dash & Lily’s Book of Dares by Rachel Cohn, David Levithan

4. The Last Man on Earth (The Graysons #1) by Tracy Anne Warren

5. Being Sloane Jacobs by Lauren Morril

6. Empower (The Violet Eden Chapters #5) by Jessica Shirvington

7. The Disreputable History of Frankie Landau-Banks by E. Lockhart

8. Heist Society (Heist Society #1) by Ally Carter

9. Love, Rosie by Cecelia Ahern

10. These Broken Stars (Starbound #1) by Amie Kaufman, Meagan Spooner

BEING SLOANE JACOBS is on my list, too; I hope it’s good! I have NO ONE ELSE CAN HAVE YOU and am hearing eh things about it for the most part, but I still want to read it. And THESE BROKEN STARS–I don’t even know what to say about that one!

  2. Lucy @ The Reading Date

We have These Broken Stars and No One Else in common. So excited to read those! And oh, Dash & Lily is a perfect winter read. I like to re-read that one over the holidays too. Heist Society is so fun- hope you enjoy it. You are in for some good winter reading!

i should have put being sloane jacobs on my list (it was on my list last week) because it’s calling my name! I’m glad you’ll finally be reading Heist Society & Frankie Landau Banks

I have been wanting to re-read Dash & Lily’s so badly… but that means I need to buy a copy and break my ban which is up to 30+ days of no book buying. AHHH. haha. I have that E. Lockhart book too. I bought it in the summer, and guess what happened? Oh I didn’t read it.

Can you please read These Broken Stars? I need to see another high review ;) Great list. I think you have a lot of good stuff to keep you busy!

I’ve seen Being Sloane Jacobs on many lists today; makes me very excited! I’m reading These Broken Stars right now and it’s very good! Hope you enjoy it. Also happy you’re reading Frankie Landau-Banks! It’s one of my faves!

Dash & Lily! I really enjoyed that book & think you will too. PERFECT time of year to be reading it. And what is this Last Man on Earth book?? Do I need it?? haha

  8. Quinn @ Quinn's Book Nook

I’ve been meanign to read Dash & Lily FOREVER. I remember last year at this time thinking to myself “hey now’s the perfect time.” But I never did get to it. :(

I have read Frankie Landau-Banks and Heist Society. They are both great. Frankie gives you a lot to think about. And I think Heist Society woudl make a great movie!

Have a great few weeks off!

Oh, The Last Man On Earth looks really enticing! I haven’t heard of that one. Will have to check it out. You get to leave work on the 17th? I’m totally jealous. That’s awesome! My last day is the 20th and I’m super excited about that. Yay for the holidays!

Ahhh! The sweater cover. haha I have no idea what that book is or what it is about… but that cover is unforgettable! I’ve always considered Heist Society! It always jumps out at me, but I never seal the deal. When you read it, let me know if you think I’d like it!

Love, Rosie is a GREAT book even if it’s kind of sad. I read it a really really long time ago but I still remember it well and I also labeled it one of my favorite books back then. I hope you get to it. Also you must read Dash & Lily! I haven’t read it for 2 years or so but I’ve been wanting to buy it so I can re-read every now and then.
